One-to-One Classes

Did I mention Commitment already?

Okay so maybe I did a few dozen times - but with good reason, because I don't want to waste your time (or mine) or your money. So I want you to think about it again.

Yoga is tough going - not always physically tough, in fact sometimes it feels pretty darned good. But it really takes a committed mind to step onto your mat every day to do whatever practice we work out will benefit you. I'll repeat that again, that's EVERY day - whether you're happy or sad, whether you feel like it or not.

And when you do turn up on the mat you need to put in a lot of effort (you get out what you put in) and this needs to be done for a VERY long time in most cases before you even start to see the changes you are hoping for.  Truth is people, there are no shortcuts in life, and Yoga doesn't have some magic pill for you  to make your life good again, it's all about hard work over a long period of time. If anyone tells you that they have a shortcut, they're after your money and you'll end up in just the same situation but poorer for your (lack of) efforts.

So, have a think, and if you're not going to do that, there's no point in paying your money and turning up for sessions, because they won't do much good. To this end, I only work with people who are willing to commit to at least a year of practice from the outset - I reckon in one year we can work together and make some pretty impressive changes in your life, so where does that leave you? Are you baulking at the thought of it, unsure of it's for you? Then best that you just close this window and move on to something else that will equally eat up your money and not give you what you really want (I mean I could take your money too, but I have this thing called a conscience...).

So what do you think, are the changes you want in your life worth a single year's worth of committed effort?

So you passed the commitment test...

Excellent - so you're probably thinking about the cost. This is where the good news comes in. In return for a year's worth of committed effort, I will give you an unlimited number of one-to-one sessions with me for only £300. Let's face it, that's a steal - about the same as a weekly Yoga class, less than a monthly massage or a gym or golf club membership - and for that you get personalised one-to-one attention whenever you need it.

Why do I do this? Well, this is my commitment to you - this is what you get in return for promising the hard work you will put in over the next year. The Yoga process only really works with close contact between teacher and student, and what I found when I charged students per session was that sometimes they wouldn't contact me when they should be (when their life changed such that they needed a different practice) simply because it would cost them more money.

So there it is - you know the cost from the outset and you know that I am there to support you as often as we need to meet.

This sounds like just the thing for me, how can I start?

Just get in touch with me in order to arrange a consultation and let the empowering process of Yoga begin.
